Use the "Open URL" command to find the location, much like you would do on the Mac. One example could be:
"http://maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&rls=en&oe=UTF-8&q=" & Street Address & ",+" & City & ",+" & State & ",+" & Zip
When you execute this script step in FileMaker Go, you should get your map pointing to the address.
I have not used location coordinates with Google Maps. Anybody else have experience?
that will work but it still doesn't open the iOS map app. it opens a google maps type looking app inside of filemaker go.
I had found the following which would also open up the same way.
"http://local.google.ca/maps? & \"q=\" Address & \",\" & City & \",\" & State & \",\" & Country "
I want it to leave FM GO and open the iOS map app and show me its location.
just noticed, when that map window opens in FM GO, if i choose to "open in Safari" the ios map app opens. so how do I get it to go directly to safari?
