I recall reading that this can be done if you have Filemaker Advanced anad that you have to set it for no menus but don't quote me on this because I haven't done it.
If you are going to put it into an enclosure you might be able to extend the enclosure to cover this area.
Filemaker Advanced creates kiosk style files on request.
Remember to include a quit button somewhere.
May anyone advise how to disable the menu? Our system will not have enclosure while we do not allow users to do anything on the menu functions.
You can create a 'kiosk-mode' version of the database using FileMaker Pro Advanced if the files are local on the iOS devices. (for non-Admin access) -> no menues
Yes, it works on this mode. Below is our system configuration which Kiosk mode does not work for us.
1. Host database by Filemaker Pro which we need to run by regular mode, not Kiosk mode
2. Will allow user to access it by Go which we do not allow Go users to have menu.
