Yes, you can use Drop box on your ios device. Install the dropbox app on your device.
1. In FMGo select the device icon.
2. Select the icon that looks like a folder piece of paper with a check in it.
3. Select the file
4. Select the square icon with an up arrow coming out of it.
5. Select Open In Dropbox

Can I script an export of data from FM Go directly into the drop box?
This is not possible, but you can email data as a file attachment.
was afraid of that.
I'm still looking for a single-step process to download data from an ipad client to a server host - initiated from the ipad. Was hoping this would be it.
You can do what you want by using sendtodropbox.com. This alows you to send an email to your Dropbox with an attached file. The file is then added to your Dropbox. If you use SMTP in the send mail script step you can make this a one step process for the user. All the user would have to do is select the script.
I don't believe drop boxes in any shape or form will satisfy my 'one touch' requirement for getting data from a client to the host. I had another thread going on the topic 'exporting data from client (Ipad) to host'. Please see that thread for how I solved the 'one touch' requirement for 'pushing' data down from a FileMaker client device to the host computer. Not very elegant, but it works.
