Try using Get(SystemNICAddress) instead if you want a device related code.
Thanks, I am aware of NIC but it can be spoofed and it can also return two or more NICs.
The IOS device id is a 40 character unique number for each device. Far more dependable than NIC. Of course it has come to life after Filemaker 11 was shipped.
Computers also have their own unique id numbers.
The app JustSys will reveal the UDID to which I refer. That is the number we could use to isolate our device.
