Importing Media for FileMaker Go Database

      Post

I'm a composer and have a database that keeps track of all my musical ideas.

The database has a sound field and each record links to an MP3 that I keep in my database folder on my Mac.

There are many hundreds of MP3s in all.

I can copy the database and sound files into my iPad, but the database isn't linking to the MP3s. I click in the

           sound field and nothing happens.

           Am I doing something wrong?

               Thank you for your post.

The database is looking for the folder name that contains the external MP3's.  Do not copy the individual sound files.  Instead, copy the Files folder (or whatever name you used to store the external MP3's) to the iOS device, then when you use the database file in FileMaker Go, it will find the external files in the folder and play them.

Let me know if you need additional clarification.
