Does this only occur with one database file? That is, if you create a new database file and enter a signature, do you get the same results? If so, try rebooting the iPad to clear out any possible memory issues and try again with the new file. If this still fails, then reinstall FileMaker Go.

I have reinstalled and rebooted the ipad for him. I'll try to get more info about what is going on... I'm just so frustrated by this.
Is the database local or being hosted? From your comment it appears that it is hosted and your customer may be losing connection to the hosted database, since the record is disappearing. Another reason records might disappear is if the database file is corrupt, so I would run recover on the database to check for corruption.
It is hosted. I've just adjusted the client timeout. It was set to NIL/VOID eh. nothing... so now I've set it to 120 minutes... and I'll follow him to check.
