The insert file / photo command is not currently supported, so I doubt there is a method at the moment.
Take a look here : http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7734
Since FM11 has not introduced any GO specific steps, I doubt there is another way.
I would suspect that an update to FileMaker in the near future may provide / unlock some hidden features, but that's just a guess.

Thank you for your posts.
Please also look at Knowledge Base Article #7744 "Copying embedded files into Container fields on the FileMaker Go":
I support filemaker DB's here with a scrap metal dealer. State law requires that we photograph our customers and their scrap if it falls in certain non-ferrous categories. Linking an iPhone to the DB and being able to use it to both enter data and capture the digital images for storage/linkage to customer's invoice would be a major upgrade as our guys could go right to where the truck is parked if necessary to capture all the relevant data...
That does indeed work, I stand corrected, very cool.
Not sure why but I had trouble getting the copy / paste menu up until I restarted my iPad
Almost a year later: does Filemaker's import from a camera work with Go? Or import a folder full of pictures?
Works great now with the latest version of FileMaker GO 1.2.1 and latest iOS version 4.3.1 on my iPod/touch :)
Tap the Container Field, select Take Photo from the pop up, "take photo", tap 'Use', there it is :)
Works on my Iphone just tested taking a picture with my iphone and it put it in the Container Field. I using it for signatures but it does work.
