Why No Filemaker Go File Icon?

In another thread it is shown how a Safari file can open a Filemaker file using Go. Safari can then bookmark that html file to create an icon to open the Filemaker file.

"FMP7://accountname:password@ipaddress/filename" opens the file with the accountname and password.

One problem with this idea, I think, is that the html file must remain on a website which means anyone can open it...

Since Safari can create a bookmark, why can't Go create a file icon on the desktop?

The icon would be for a local file assuming that remote file icons wouldn't work. The local file could be a menu file that can open local files or remote files at the click of a button. Easy enough to make with Pro and transfer to Go.
