Title

Active Directory and Open Directory External Authorization simultaneously

Your post

     Hello all

We have an OpenDirectory for most of our External Authentication. We recently 'bound' our FMSA (11.0.4.404 on OSXServer 10.6.4) to our Active Directory so that some users can connect via our Citrix servers.

This works fine...for a while. After a week or so, Citrix/AD users can't authenticate. If we bounce the AD server and wait 2-3 minutes they can. Nothing needs to be done to FMSA.

Adding to the mystery, an AD user CAN login to the FileMaker Server from the login window at this point. Telling us that the server is still 'bound' to the AD and passing Authentication on to AD. That it's FMSA that's lost connection.

     Any tho'ts appreciated. Mark
