Admin console cannot validate certificate

Your post

Whenever I try to launch Admin Console on a remote machine (ie not the machine running the server) I get an error message saying that Java 'Failed to validate certificate'. I'm given two options 'Details' and 'OK'. If I choose OK, the console then quits. 'Details' gives the following message: Unable to evaluate certificates at at at at at at com.sun.javaws.LaunchDownload.checkSignedResourcesHelper( at com.sun.javaws.LaunchDownload.checkSignedResources( at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.prepareLaunchFile( at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.prepareToLaunch( at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.prepareToLaunch( at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.launch( at com.sun.javaws.Main.launchApp( at com.sun.javaws.Main.continueInSecureThread( at com.sun.javaws.Main$ at

I've tried clearing the Java cache and checked that ports 16000 and 16001 are open on the server machine.

I can launch Admin Console on the server itself without any problems, just not on a remote machine. Any suggestions?
