      Clarification on products for IWP

      Your post

I am running Filemaker Adv 11 on a dedicated server and Filemaker 11 on clients. Have I got the right products to publish a database via IWP so a browser can use it - the database will be constructed on Filemaker 11 and then placed on the server that is running Filemaker Server Adv 11. Presumably then it is just configuring the port and getting the url for the browser.

I am assumed I have made all the right purchases?

I don't need Filemaker Adv 11 client to develop the database before moving it to the server environment?

      Thanks in anticipation.

If you plan on doing this all in house instead of jobbing it out to a web-hosting company, you have the correct software, though Filemaker Advanced (not Filemaker Server Advanced) is a better version for developing a database. It's Database Design Reports and script debugger can save hours of frustration when things don't work as expected during development.
