Database unavailable status in running a scheduled daily backup at Noon
I am running Filemaker Pro Server 10 on Windows 2003 Server. My experiance level is 20 yars with earlier versions of Filemaker. One year with Filemaker 10. I scheduled a Daily backup at 11:00PM and a weekly backup at 10:00PM and the status shows OK. I also scheduled a single daily backup at 12 noon and the status comes back as Database unavailable.
Any ideas why? Do all users need to be off in order for FileMaker to perform the backup?
No they do not. However you may want to check if some server side process is hanging. Try closing the files,stopping FMS, and rebooting.
