Database won't stay closed in FMS 13

      Your post

           Hi,

Each time I close a database, the next time I restart the server it is running again.

How do I close a database on the server and keep it closed?

           Thank you,

           Phil

               Thank you for the post.

By default, FileMaker Server 13 will open any hosted files at startup. FileMaker Server searches the default database folder (and in subfolders one level down) for databases to host. It also searches an optional additional database folder.

If you will let me know what is the goal of keeping the hosted file closed, then I can suggest a workaround to limit access to the file even when opened.
