Dealing with FMS-client link instability...
I have had this issue with every version of FM server I have used: If a user is logged on to a FileMaker server for several days, the connection occasionally gets corrupted and the Server database does not update properly. Changes will appear on the client machine but do not update the server. Or, scripts don't run properly. The fix is to restart FileMaker on the client computer.
I can't be the only one with this issue. Does anyone else have workarounds? I suppose I could create a scheduled task that resarts the FileMaker server once a day... thoughts?
