Enabling ODBC on FileMaker 10 troubles...

Your post

Using FileMaker Server 10 on Windows Server 2003. I'd like to use ODBC to access FileMaker. I load up the Admin Console (version and enable ODBC. After enabling, I cannot connect to port 2399. After looking at Windows Event Viewer, I see:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( FMSocket_SL55 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: FMSocket_SL55@localhost,ErrorCode=430,ErrorMessage=Failed to open event trace file because the file version is not recognised..

Searching around, I see people recommend renaming FMSocket_SL5.trc. It seems that this would work only if using version 9. Since this is 10, I don't have that file. Can anyone help?
