My company uses an application that is built on FileMaker 12. We have FileMaker Pro 12 installed on a terminal server and FileMaker Server 12 installed on a separate application server. Our users are given a Remote Desktop connection to FileMaker Pro on the Terminal Server, which they then use to run the FileMaker Server 12 application on the application server. Currently everything is working fine.
Our IT networking department has informed me that they want to change the IP address of the application server where we have FileMaker Server 12 installed. I'm trying to determine/assess what impact changing the IP address of the application server will have, if any, on the functioning of our system. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
