Get ( CurrentDate ) will produce an invalid file path as it will return slashes between the month, day and year numbers in most cases. You might use Substitute ( Get ( CurrentDate ) ; "/" ; "-" ) instead to avoid that issue.
Server scheduled scripts that import or export data have severe limitations that your scheduled script must stay with in in order for it to work as documented in this KnowledgeBase article:
still not working...
been trying $path = Get(DocumentsPath) & "Export.csv"
in the specify output file
the strange part is: FileMaker doesn't give an error anymore, but the file still isn't created
finally found the problem:
Rosetta wasn't installed, and FM server doesn't give throws an error for this...
so if you have this problem: either install it, or use another file-extension...
I am using FM Server 11 and when I use the function Get ( DocumentsPath ), it gives me the documents path of my Mac, not the documents path for the FM Server (i.e. it gives me Macintosh HD/.../~User/Documents instead of Macintosh HD/.../Data/Documents). Why is this?
