FMS 11 ontop of OSXS 10.5.8 - IP filtering for remote clients not honored by FMS

Your post

So I have my FMS 11 running ontop of OSXS 10.5.8. My clients are auth'd to the DB by an OSXS Open Directory server on a geographically distinct machine.

On the FMS 11 server machine, I have IP filtering enabled, but for some reason, FMS is allowing connections which are not in the allowed section of the OSXS Firewall.

While my users are happy that they don't need to bug me to add access for them at their hotels, homes etc. I would rather that FMS acknowledged and followed the rules setup on the host that it runs atop of.

Thanks for any insights.
