How do I update PHP now?

How do I update PHP now?

      Your post

I am using OS X.5 server, FM Server 10 Advanced.  I wanted to upgrade my php to the latest version, and while trying to upgrade using Marc Liyanage's page: http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/ to get the latest and greatest particularly for MySQL support and more, I get stuck.

I can't disable the PHP module that was installed during the FileMaker 10 Deployment Wizard.  It does not show in the Apache Server Admin Console, nor on either /etc/Apache2/httpd.conf or /etc/httpd/httpd.conf.  Nor is the code changed in the /etc/httpd/httpd.conf file as it was in FileMaker Server 9. e.g.

      # begin FileMaker PHP module activation

      include '/Library/FileMaker Server/Web Publishing/publishing-engine/php/httpd.conf.php

Also, is the version of PHP installed in FM Server Advanced 10 Intel-based Mac compatible?

So my question is how do I upgrade PHP now and in the future?

      All help is appreciated!
