      How to remove the FIleMaker website default page

      Your post

           Hi,

           I hava a FileMaker server and the IP is known. I also enable CWP (XML), may I know how to remove this website or to replace it instead of showing the 'FileMaker Database Server Website" wording?

               If you are on Windows Server you can edit this file:

               "C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\HTTPServer\conf\index.html"

               IF you left the default locations when you installed.

                 I just got done going through something similar.  I edited the index.html file (I am on a Mac so it is found in /Library/FileMaker Server/HTTPServer/htdocs ) to be a simple http refresh to the local address for the database listing page.  Since I've got a local DNS server, I am able to use a FQDN but an the IP address of the server will work fine.

                 My code is simply

                 <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 //EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
                 <html>
                 <head>
                 <title>Loading FMS Servers . . .</title>
                 <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=http://<CHANGEME>/fmi/webd">
                 <meta name="keywords" content="automatic redirection">
                 </head>
                 <body>

                 </html>
