Huge problem with ghost users through PHP API Webpublishing freezes

      Your post

      Hi,

We have a huge problem with my client almost giving up!

We have a PHP / MySQL webshop that runs on a web server. The cart is built in FilemakerServer 13 running on a brand new mac mini all located in the datacenter. All connected through the PHP API and it's working fine and fast.

      EXCEPT

a few times a day the PHP API USER is multiplied, sometimes as many as 10 times. Normally this isn't a big issue because Filemaker server gets rid of these clients if unused.

      BUT

a few times a day the clients aren't removed and the filemaker server freezes. although the regular clients can continue to work. It looks like if the web service is freezing.

It is not possible to restart the web service or the filemaker server in this condition. The only thing that we can do is restart the mac mini.

This happens add random, lots of clients or just one, filemaker server script running or not.
The sql tables in Filemaker are connected through ODBC, also no problems here.

Please, please help us because we are out of options!
Could this be JAVA, Network related or any other known issue??

      Niels
