Hi John Johnson:
Thanks for posting.
It is possible to use a shortcut to specific databases in instant web publishing, allowing you to bypass the database selection screen on the home page. When you type in the URL for the IWP home page, normally you would only specify the IP address and port for your host in the URL, such as the following.
http://<IP address>:<Port number>/fmi/iwp
The above example would bring you to the default IWP page listing all of your hosted databases. However, you can also be more specific and add the database name in the URL address, allowing you to reach one database instead of having a list of each database you are hosting. Here is an example of how you would set up the URL.
http://<IP address>:<Port number>/fmi/iwp/cgi?-db=<database name>&-loadframes
Where it has <database name> is where you would insert the name of your database. If your database was named contacts, the URL would change to the following.
http://<IP address>:<Port number>/fmi/iwp/cgi?-db=contacts&-loadframes
This would take you directly to the login screen for the database contacts.
