    Limiting results by user

      Limiting results by user

      Your post

I'm working on something right now that I'm trying to do quickly, and I have a limited knowledge of PHP, but do know SQL queries fairly well.

I'm trying to create a PHP site via the PHP assistant, but be able to limit search results or view records to just the user logged in. I can get fields to populate with a username by putting that qualification in a field, but would like for individual users to have access to editing and viewing, but only for their username.

I looked at the PHP files for the generated site and not really sure where I could put this in. I was looking for a SQL statement where I could add something like "WHERE user = $userName" or something to that effect.

      Any suggestions?
