Thank you for posting.
One item of difficulty here is the following line in the default recordlist.php:
$findrequestdata = $cgi->get('storedfindrequest');
It's not immediately obvious how the parameters from the findrecords.php are stored and parsed.
One possible workaround is to create a custom find request page:
1. Create a copy of the recordlist.php file called recordlistfind.php
2. In the new file just before ExitOnError($findCom); put a line like this:
3. Now you can perform finds simply by navigating to a URL. To list all records where "fieldname" is equal to "bob":
While there may be additional considerations, this method should give a possible solution without too much effort.
Thanks for your help TSuki,
I agree it is very mysterious.
I can't seem to get your workaround to work either though. When I put the line you wrote in my duplicate page I get the an error that says:
Notice: Undefined variable: findCom in /Filemaker/Mobile/recordlistfind.php on line 36
Fatal error: Call to a member function addFindCriterion() on a non-object in /Filemaker/Mobile/recordlistfind.php on line 36
Where line 36 refers to the line that I pasted in from your above comment. Any ideas?
I have an ExitOnError($findCom); on line 76 and the added line from step 2 just above it. The $findCom variable isn't initialized until line 64 and won't be accessible until then. I will send a private message with the contents of my file if you would like to compare. Please check your Inbox link at the top of the page.
