Unfortunately, when it comes to import/export records and server compatibility, the drop down doesn't tell you the whole story. There are only certain very specific places on the server to which you can export to or import from when the script is performed from a server schedule.
See this KnowledgeBase article on the subject: http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7035/kw/server%20import%20records
I have a set up where one File Imports records from another each night and this does not work from a server scheduled script. My solution was to set up a "robot file" opened via an OS based scheduler. It then connects to and runs the import records script and this works as it is running the script from a client session instead of from the server "host" session.
It works. I have used your article on KnowledgeBase.
*Set Variable [$filepath; "filewin:" & Get(DocumentsPath) & "Export.csv"]
** Export Records [No dialog; "$filepath"]
*Set Variable Options:
Value: Use one of the following formulas
Mac: Get(DocumentsPath) & "Export.csv"
Windows: "filewin:" & Get(DocumentsPath) & "Export.csv"
Thank you so much,
