Perform Script from web Browser

Perform Script from web Browser

Your post

I have a copy of FileMaker Server 11 which hosts all of our Databases. We connect to these databases remotely on Macs using FileMaker Pro 11. Written into the databases is a lot of Applescript code. When we push a button in the database it runs our Applescript code. What I would like to do is connect to the Filemaker database via a web browser add, amend or delete records and then push a button that would perform the same action as if we'd pushed the button on the Mac.

To do this propely I know I need to query the database that's being published by FileMaker Server using php. What I do not know is how I can detect that a record has been added, ameded or deleted on the Mac and run a relevant script. Is the possible at all? maybe script triggers can detect when a record has been modified.

I hope I've explained myself but if not please ask any questions.

Any advice would be appreciated.
