Recurring timeout failure to start Filemaker Server service fmshelper.exe at boot up.
We're constantly receiving a timeout while starting Filemaker Server service at boot time on situations where server host is rebooted due to automatically installed Windows updates. Service is set to start with the delayed flag. On the Windows Event log the following information is logged:
Event ID 7009 "A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the FileMaker Server service to connect.”
We're running Filemaker Server Advanced 220.127.116.111 on Windows Server 2008 R2 as a VMware guest with one vCPU and 4 GB's of RAM. Server can easily handle its daily load, but could the CPU limit the startup processing power need or any other suggestions? This is embarrassing as it brings downtime before we get to server to manually start the service. When started manually, through services.msc, it always starts up ok.
