Well Save As PDF is not server compatible so you can't generate a PDF and attach it to an email from a server scheduled script. But if you can include all the needed info as plain text in the body of the email, a server scheduled script could send out an email using SMTP instead of the local client.
Or you can run a FM Robot. A filemaker client that launches itself (via cron) on the server to do whichever script you need

Or Windows Scheduled Tasks on Windows systems and the file does not have to be on the server, the file can be on a client machine left powered up for that purpose.
