Title

Unable to configure the admin console to use a Verisign certificate

Your post

I am trying to configure the admin console to use a Verisign certificate.

I have generated a certificate request, received my cert from verisign, and imported the certificate using the "fmsadmin certificate import" command. I have no errors.

I reboot, but the software continues to use the self-signed certificate.

The servercustom.pem file is created, and looks correct to me - I see the certificate and private key in the file.

I verified that the certificate is valid by installing it to a windows keystore, so i do not think the certificate is the problem.

     I am running FileMaker12 Server, version4 on Windows2008R2 (64-bit) server.

All ports are open, and SSL works fine with the self-signed certificate.

Am I missing any steps to configure FileMaker to use a CA certificate?
