FileMaker Pro uses port 5003 to display and access shared files. It sounds like the installation of Terminal Services may have created a conflict to this port. If you uninstall Terminal Services, are clients then able to view (and access) database files? Also, you may want to have the users try accessing the files remotely by filename. For example,
fmnet:/<IP address of host machine>/<filename.fp7>

at worldcloud.com we install the Terminal Services on a separate machine fomr the FM Server - we would never combine those into 1 machine - use the built-in Desktop Sharing for Admin in the FM Server for 1 or 2 Admins -
