I have just set up a test FMSA 11 on Windows Server 2008 R2 in a virtual environment on Hyper-V. Our live intranet is currently running on FMSA 9/Windows Server 2003 which works fine speed wise. Transferring the intranet to the new setup and performing simply queries is painfully slow. I don't think there is any issue with VM as it the only thing currently running on a high specced server and normal access to the filemaker databases is fine.
I have PHP 5.32 running as fast-CGI, but have also tried the filemaker build using ISAPI. But no noticeable difference between them. I am also getting occasional application pool crashes on iis:
5009 A process serving application pool 'testintranet' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '3920'. The process exit code was '0xff'.
