WebDirect Hanging on Login - Spinning Wheel
We are having multiple issues since upgrading from IWP in FMPS 12 to WebDirect in FMPS 13.01 on Mac Server 10.8.5. Users are reporting getting stuck on the spinning wheel icon, before the pop-up box appears for username/password, when they try to access either the https://domain.com/fmi/web# url or https://domain.com/fmi/web#<database name>.
On Safari v7.01 and Chrome v31.0.1650.63 on a Mac running 10.9.1 we have recreated the issue with the direct database link, although it is not consistent. We have not been able to recreate it with the web# link. On Firefox, which is not supported, it works 100% of the time.
One user has not been able to get either link to work using IE8 on Windows. I know IE8 is not officially supported but would IE8 prevent them from even logging in? Is the login process using java or anything else that we should be looking at?
This has become a critical issue for us as key customers can no longer log into the database. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
