Did you try to capture error just after the insert step, using the Get (LastError) function ?
Yes and it returns with no error 0.
Is that meaning that if you just change the view of the layout which is usually on list view, and switch temporarily to form view, the issue does appear when you press the button ?
If so it could be a bug to be reported here.
Yes that's correct. I'll make sure to report it. Thanks for your help.
I could not duplicate your results. The barcode scan works correctly on my iPhone 6.
The script is one line.
My script test
Insert from Device [yourtable::BarCodeField; Type: Bar Code; camera : Back; Resolution: Full]
Your BarCodeField should be on your layout.
My test was done with database created in FMPA14, iPhone6, use FMGo 14.0.2
I have the same script that you tested. The only difference is I'm using an iPad. When the button is pressed, it doesn't even open up the camera. Nothing occurs.
You have to give FMGo permission to use the camera, which should be done if you used the camera in list view on same devices.
To change / verify settings : Select settings on your iPad, Go to FMGo (you have to give every version that you use permission), then select the slide to on (green) next to the camera.
I have an iPad3 I will test the database and let you know the results.
I just tested on my iPad 3 and it work as expected.
