I have about 10 users on my DB right now, via our Server (also FM Server). I would like to save a clone of the DB so that I can make some changes on my own and run some tests without ruining the current file, but I know saving while it's open is a bad idea.
My question is this: Do I need to *only* close the FM on my work computer to save as a clone? Or will I need to wait until everyone has their FMs closed in order to save as a clone?
Thanks for reading!

If the database is being hosted on FileMaker Server (which I think is what you said), then saving a clone is no big deal. Simply create a backup schedule using the Schedules feature of the server and specify that you want it to save a clone. You can then copy the clone off anywhere you like.
