We currently have an HR database with personal information entered and maintained by the HR department. We would like to use the data from this database in a new inventory database that only secretaries would have access to. The secretaries do not have access to the HR database.
How do I (or can I?) create the inventory database to automatically populate email, phone, address, office number, etc from the HR database when an individual's name is selected in the dropdown list? I understand this is possible if the user of the inventory database has access to the HR database. However, in this case the secretaries do not have access to the HR database.
Any insight/answers would be very appreciative!
