There is a button to add hosts ... cant seem find a remove host option
Maybe I am missing something here
There is a simple mode:
1) open favorite;
2) manage favorite;
3) select host to remove
4) select minus(-)
For other details visit the URL:
Saving, editing, and removing FileMaker Pro host favorites | FileMaker
I can't figure out the logic, but to remove a host go to Open Favorite, Manage Favorite, then select the host, then select the minus icon.
My host is not in the favourites list ... i have not added the remote host as favourite ...
I have added 2 hosts with the same address ... was just looking for a way to get rid of the duplicate
in Windows Operating system,
first you close Filemaker Pro,
then you remove the regedit key in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro\<Version>\FavHostInfo
Under the "FavHostInfo" there is the "Entry" with:
Remove the duplicate entry.
Then you modify regedit key "Entries"=dword:0000000x" in "Entries"=dword:00000001" (or number of active entries).
The key is in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro\<Version>\FavHostInfo\Summary"
PS <Version> indicate the versione of filemaker.
Thanks ... But I am on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10 .
I am using FIlemaker pro advanced 14
On my MAC and on my Winodws computer The Launch Center Show only list the host that it can find plus favorites. There is only one + (add icon) in the Launch Center and it is to add favorite. When you hover over the add icon the tool tip states Add a favorite host. There is not another add buttion. The only delete icon - is under manage favorites.
Thanks ... for some reason my hosts were NOT showing up on the manage favourites to delete ...
I rebooted my mac ... it showed up and I could delete it .... Thanks for the help

Wish there was a way to mark 2 answers as corect ! Last night your suggestion didnt work strangely ( my hosts were not appearing in the list ) ... now it's working after reboot ...
All I was saying is that my answer and carlos answer is the exact same correct answer. My post was last night and his was this morning. It's all good. It funny that this has happen twice to me in the last two days.
The launch Center shows favorites and recently accessed files under the "My Solutions" tab. And shows FMSs under the "Hosts" tab.
In favorites there is a Dark STAR to the left of the File or Host name. Clicking the Dark Star will remove that file from the Favorites list.
You can add a Recent file to the Favorites by clicking the Clear Star to the left of the file name.
You can also rearrange the Favorites in "My Solutions" using Drag-and_drop.
To add an FMS to your favorites click the "Hosts" tab.
Scroll down to the desired FMS.
Click to the left of the Server name, on the "Stack of pancakes" icon.
This will add it to the Favorites Hosts list above.
To rearrange the Hosts list you can delete and add them in the desired order.
While in the Hosts list you can select a Host and add any file from its list by Clicking the Clear Start to the left of the file name.
