In manage database, I have tried changing the field type and that has not made a difference.
Be aware that the field type must be text in order to store delimited values in it.
I can't tell you the reason why it's not working, but a simple
Substitute ( YourTable::yourChartData ; "%" ; ¶ )
should remedy the issue.
Thanks for the suggestion. The field types are definitely text. My dilemma is that depending on the record, sometimes the data in the field is a number and sometimes it's a percent. In Filemaker 11, the chart would populate regardless and I needed that flexibility. It's definitely something different with Filemaker 14.

Well, you still have that; if there are no "%"s present, nothing is substituted, and you have the values "as is" (are?).
I solved my own problem. The Abs( ) function took care of it.
