I'm very new to FileMaker. I'm building a database for the company and I would like to be able to have a communication field, so every time it gets filled up, a message or notification would be sent to the creator of the record. We do distribution of videos and, when a video is searched, the editor receives the video file to save in our HD. If the file has a problem or needs more information, I would like the editor to be able to state the problem in a designated field and, whenever he does so, the researcher who created the record would get a notification through FileMaker letting him know to check the field for the message from the editor.
Is that possible?
