Unable to edit fields and scripts in hosted solution

Hi all,


I am encountering some interesting behavior on a hosted (FMS 14, Win Serve) database right now and wondering if anybody had something like that happen and has an idea about what is going on:


I developed the database, so have full access both to the db itself as well as via Remote desktop to the server. Since I uploaded it to that testing server (used my own development server before that) I don't seem to be able to make changes in field definitions, create fields and now even editing scripts does not work.


If I do any of that, I get the spinning wheel (waiting for server) and the changes don't save. I have never seen anything like it before and am pretty confused about where to look, client, server....?


One of my guesses was incorrect privileges for the DB file on the host, but then it would not save any records etc. or even open.


Also: I did not set the up server myself.
