HI Markus, the "Recent Activity" option must be pointed at a specific place in the community. It doesn't display content in subspaces, or combine content from multiple areas.
However, it might be possible to have a second "Recent Activity" box on the same page, giving recent activity in that other area -- we'd consider that depending on which page you're talking about.
Could you give the URLs of the pages you're talking about, so I'm 100% sure I understand what you'd like to see?
URL for the page where the recent activity is displayed:
URL for the page where the German discussion content is located:
Got it -- and unfortunately, it's not possible. The localization of the community is built around a hierarchy of spaces.
The only way to make this "Recent Discussions" list include German content would be to move the German content into this "Discussions" area, rather than having a separate space at the URL you provided.
However, we could talk to Michael Valentin about having a Recent Discussions list on this page:
Something like this:
By the way, I thought most people didn't think the "Recent Content" lists were very helpful -- and instead were directly to the comprehensive Content lists, like this page:
When (and where) do you find the shorter "Recent Content" lists helpful? Thanks.
the url doesn't work (screenshot)
if thad leads to the content page: After writing a posting, I missed the navigation, therefore I did mot use that aby longer.
I don't want to have the german site as default - but it would be nice to follow its postings from one page.
I can have some more bookmarks, would be the easiest solution
btw. under iOS9, jive doesn't work very well. Wrong keys entered, part of the text sekected without any user action (text lost), when the message appears that there is some saved text and one want's to get that back, the text-window remains empty, text is hidden by the new formatting bar, etc. (and no, the jive iOS app doesn't work either - at least under iOS8)
Sorry, I was testing on a staging version -- edited the staging portion from the visible URL but not the underlying link:
This is the German Forum, and I understand that you'd like a more centralized way of viewing different forums at once. Maybe I should create a page that does that specifically -- English, German, Japanese, etc. Then you (and other multi-lingual people) can bookmark that as a jumping-off point.
Would that be helpful?
