I installed FileMaker Pro Advanced v14.0.2 (Canadian Mac download) on my hard drive named "Système".  (I tried it on two different Mac's: OS X 10.11.1 and Mac OS X 10.10.5).

The installation worked well but the application did not open.  Instead, it displayed this message:

FMPA error.jpg

When I rename my hard drive to "System", the application opens normally.

When I rename it back to "Système", the application only displays the above message.

Since when does a Mac application not accept accented characters in the name of the hard drive???
