I think having an OnTimer script run every minute is a terrible idea, especially if you're doing development!
OnTimer scripts interrupt user activities. Not just script, but even things like entering data. Why do you have it running? Why don't you disable it when you're developing?
I don't develop a lot in the solution, but other than that, no reason why I don't turn it off while developing.
I didn't create it, someone else did, and it is quite expansive (does a lot). I, personally, do not like it, but since I don't develop a that much in there, I don't look into replacing it.
In the OnTimer script, add an If.
If ( Get ( AccountPrivilegeSetName = "[Full Access]" )
It might solve your scripting problem without causing problems elsewhere.
And I agree with David that every minute is probably excessive.
do you have halt the loop of "On time script"?
You can try to halt the time script. Read the URL https://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7036/~/using-the-install-ontimer-script-step-within-a-conditional-script
Thank you, I think I will try that.
I wasn't expecting to develop in this solution again, really, but it seems like it will be going that way.
Thank you for the link.
I will do something about it.
