Tooltip formatting accident in FMP14A - Improbable Feature?

Question asked by StephenWonfor on Oct 6, 2015

I was setting up a tooltip on a layout and had copied a text label from the layout to appear in the tooltip.  Much to my surprise that pasted label showed up in blue text within the tool tip - see image attachment and sample db.  How unusual.  The copied text was 12 point Verdana Bold Black.

So I thought "this is cool, I can make use of it." but I find I can't figure out how.

TextColor ( "Some Label" ; RGB ( 255 ; 0 ; 0 ) ) as a tooltip returns all black.

The exact text in the tooltip is this:

"This button will move all the ON HOLD registrations to ARCHIVE.  These will be visible under the \"ON HOLD Web Registrations\" label."

"ON HOLD Web Registrations" is clearly blue.

My Mac is OSX 10.9.5.  FMP14A does this, so does FMP13A.

1.  Is this possible?

2.  If "Yes" to Q1 how do I control and repeat it?
