Dumb: case-sensitive log-in elements

Discussion created by BenToronto on Oct 15, 2015

Took me quite a while to find this feedback section.

Today's suggestion: it is dumb to be case-sensitive for the log-in elements (name, password...), Often these are funny and have no inherent language rules so why should the user have to memorize case as well for letters? Trivial security advantage to be case-sensitive.

I continue to be astonished at how awful Jive is. It is created by people who are visual illiterates (like many highway sign makers who mush-up the messages on signs) which is as destructive as if they were language deficient. And being very ugly hurts usability too.
