Importing Filemaker 1.0 databases

I started using Filemaker back in the day (version 1.0), creating several personal databases on my Mac. I stopped upgrading Filemaker after Version 7 or 8, and when I replaced my old Macbook with a MacBook Air and OS 10.8, my old version Filemaker would no longer work. So I could not us those databases. I just purchased Filemaker 14, and if I try to open the old databases with Filemaker 14, I get a message that Filemaker 14 can't open them because they were created with Filemaker 1.0.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can get at the data in the databases? It doesn't have to be in the Filemaker format (although that would be nice). I take a dump to Excel that I could then import into Filemaker 14. Is there something like the old Maclink out there that will convert data from old versions to newer versions? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
