com.filemaker.client.advanced12.plist is used both by filemaker 13 and Filemaker 14.
When I first noticed it I assumed that. I was thrown by the KB article that mentioned removing com.filemaker.client.advanced13.plist. Thanks,

Yes, I found the article confusing/incorrect as well
Moving Preferences from previous version to FileMaker Pro/Advanced 14 | FileMaker
If you have previously launched FileMaker Pro 14 you will need to remove the preferences that were created before continuing. To do this find the file named ‘com.filemaker.client.pro14.plist' and/or 'com.filemaker.client.advanced14.plist' and drag it/them to the trash.
This FMI KB article does not match up with what we are seeing or perhaps more accurately what we are NOT seeing. Running 14.0.6 on 10.10.5 there is no ‘com.filemaker.client.pro14.plist' and/or 'com.filemaker.client.advanced14.plist in the locations described.
That is all the testing that I have done so far.
Perhaps someone will update the article.
