Here is the text of the discussion in English.
I have a problem with "Managing External Data Sources" FileMaker.
I need to interface db FM with a db in SQL Server. I created the DSN and also the external data source in FM recalling the DSN created.
At the time of creating the data in FM I specified the following parameters:
1. Type: ODBC
2. DSN: one created in Windows (only display those global)
3. Authentication: "Specify user name and password" specifying user name and password of a general user created in SQL Server.
This means that all users who use FM and write in SQL Server all use the same user specified in paragraph 3. It does not suit me. I wish that each user to access SQL Server with your own account so you have "n" independent connections and no more than one for all.
I tried to specify in the Authentication (Step 3) to "Username": get (AccountName) and the "Password": get (UserName) after creating all the user in SQL Server.
This solution, using variables or calculations on the fly, is not working. All users, however access to SQL Server you ask username and password and must impute hand.
And 'normal behavior as well?
FM as the ability to specify calculations or variables for username and password, but do not function. There is a solution for it?
Also, when I go to define a new data source external FM and I'm going to specify the DSN, the list displays only the DSN Global and not those for user. Why? There is the opportunity to show them? It 'another limitation of FM?
