Introducing the Product Ideas discussion space
For those that had not seen it...
How great is this - dreams come true :-)
Already posted the first "product idea" and hope for many, many votes on this.
Definitely a positive development coming out of California. Hopefully we can keep most of the discussions informative and constructive. That will help the Product Managers focus in on what our requests really are.
One feature I've wanted to see for a while: on a Mac in the page setup dialog there is a "format for" and a list of printers connected. There should be the option of setting the printer by calculation. Currently it is the only non-programable aspect in all the print or print setup steps.

The Product Ideas discussion space is a good thing. Kudos to those who made it happen. The ability to vote up or down is good. That said, I think that those who are down voting the suggestions of others might consider adding a comment as well so we know that they are not just having a bad day ;-) The list view that I am looking at shows net votes. Up and down separately would be better as is the case in the detail page. https://community.filemaker.com/ideas/1047 The Jive web site pagination implementation is sub-optimal (poor). Currently there are 6 pages of ideas. Yet you have to click repeatedly to get to page 6 Nice to see progress!
