This looks awful!!!
Can you tell us which Theme you're using?
I can't replicate, but I'm using english FMP Version with Windows 10.
I did tests with Theme "Visionär" *)
*) maybe somebody can explain why german Theme names appear with my english FMP version on Windows 10
Happens to me every now and then. Nothing a restart won't usually fix. Again.
out of curiosity:
- are you with Windows 10?
- english OR other language version (Thomas is with german version)?
- which Theme are you using OR used to use to build up your own Theme?
Can anybody replicate this with Mac OS?
until now, no problem under OSX (never had this). Looks OK under Win 8.1 as well
since it's the inspector, shouldn't be theme-dependent
I work with a self defined Theme (but it also appears with the standard theme "Cool Grey" as well
I work with a German Windows 10 and FM in German
But as mentioned: everything is fine with FM 13. So I think it is FM 14 related.
Thank you for your posts.
I have been unable to replicate the issue with FileMaker Pro 14.0.3 under Windows 10 using "Cool Gray" theme. Granted, I am using the US version of both FileMaker Pro and Windows 10.
If you create a new layout (do not duplicate) and place a tab control on the layout, do you still get the same spacing issue? Does this issue occur with a new database file? Are there other German Windows 10 users encountering this issue? Do you have another Windows 10 machine for testing purposes? Let me know if you have specific steps to reproduce the issue.
Today I also find it hard to replicate it even though I was in the 'affected' layout.
I try to find out which cirmumstances will cause this strange behaviour.
Thanks & with kind regards
