When I click on the database icon, it doesn't open and I get the following message:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Varooom data files saved on CD. USR is not a valid Win 32 application
Sounds like you are trying to open the database file from a Runtime. Do you have FileMaker installed?
Moving this to the Product Issues area, where it's likely to get more attention.
FileMaker is NOT installed to the best of my knowledge. The Varooom application uses as a basis FM4.0.
I've had a similar problem before. If you check my profile you will see older posts pertaining to a similar problem with Varooom..
Would installing FileMaker 5.0 solve this problem? Would I just insert the FM 5.0 CD and then do what?
How are you opening Varoom? Via the exe file? Or are you trying to open the USR file directly?
What OS are you on?
I'm not sure. There is an icon on the desktop that I normally click and Varoom appears. Windows XP is the OS.
Your database is in the "My documents" folder, so you could find application (may have similar name) in there. Try run it.
If there is not, you probably delete it accidentally... you use bad place to put it...
Seeing file name, you seems saved only data file to a CD, and copy it to the folder?? Do you have the CD?
